Auco Cruise

Brief

The glamorous beauty of the Gulf of Tonkin, with its dramatic scenery, its inviting and isolated sandy beaches, and the interesting local life to be found in its floating fishing villages motivated us to introduce the fabulous sights of the natural wonders of this World Heritage site to visitors. That’s where the idea for The Au Co was born.

Inspired by the legend of the love story between the Dragon Lord of the sea – Long Quan – and the young fairy – Au Co, together with our gratitude and love for the mother of Vietnamese civilization, reputed French architects joined our efforts to create a truly Vietnamese product embracing luxurious design and French elegance.

Graceful and sophisticated in every detail, The Au Co sets a new standard for luxurious travel products in Vietnam. It will guarantee its guests the experience of a lifetime. Its 3 day voyage will not only lead through the natural wonders of UNESCO’s World Heritage Site Halong Bay, but uniquely will also allow guests to discover the Bays of Lan Ha and Bai Tu Long, as well as Cat Ba Island, with its renowned National Park.

But what exactly is it that makes The Au Co a lifetime experience? For every cruise, The Au Co pledges the following:
- The experience of a lifetime - in terms of exciting destinations, excursions and activities
- A new standard of luxury – in terms of comfortable and spacious accommodation
- A new standard of service – in the attention to detail of our food, wine and services, so that all of our guests can relax and enjoy their cruise experience
- A responsible cruise – ensuring the safety of all onboard; minimising the impact on the local environment and operating under the concept of sustainable tourism; and supporting local communities andpreserving the beauty of the Gulf of Tonkin for future generations.
