Day 01: Vientiane Arrival (L) Arrive in Vientiane, welcomed by our guide and transfer to hotel. You will have lunch at local restaurant. Visit Wat Prakeo, Wat Sisaket (the house of thousand Buddha images), Anousavari like Arch of Triumph in Paris and Pra thatluang stupa (the stupa that kept the relic of Lord Buddha. You will have dinner on your own and stay overnight at hotel in Vientiane. |
Day 02: Vientiane – Xieng Khouang (B.L) By Flight After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Xieng Khouang Province. Welcome and transfer to hotel. Visit the main site of Jars (The Mysterious Plain of Jars) scattered on a hill frame slope, about 12 Kilometers outside ( Phonsavan ) are over 300 giant jars of unknown origin, they weight between one and six tons each and must be over 1000 years age. On way back, visit Phonsavanh Market. You will have dinner on your own and stay overnight at hotel in Xieng Khoang. |
Day 03: Xieng Khoang – Luang Prabang (B.L) After breakfast at hotel, visit Xieng Khoang market and depart to Luang Prabang, the former Royal capital City of Laos, the crown jewel of the ancient Lane Xang Empire (pronounced "lane sang"), the Land of a Million Elephants via Phoukhoune, on the way you will have a chance to have an overview the experience the local life style along the mountainous road through the tropical rain forest. Arrive in Luang Prabang, check in at hotel and free to discover Luang Prabang. You will have dinner on your own and stay overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang. |
Day 04: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou – Ting Caves – Phanom Weaving (B.L) After breakfast at hotel, you will take a boat trip on the mighty Mekong River to visit the Pak Ou Caves. Visit Ban Phanom village where traditional Lao textiles are woven on ancient wooden looms. Return to Luang Prabang, visit Wat Visoun, the site of impressive Thad Makmo stupa. Phou Si hill stands right in the center of this small city. Climb its 350 steps to enjoy commanding views for many miles in each direction. Visit Wat Mai built in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) emphasizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style. Wat XiengThong is considered to emphasize & characterize the uniqueness of Luang Prabang’s local style. You will have dinner at your own and overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang. |
Day 05: Luang Prabang – Khuang Si waterfall (B.L) In the early morning go to the monks procession in town. You can give the monks the food (rice , fruits …). Back to hotel for breakfast. Depart to Tad Khuang Si waterfall, the most beautiful and the biggest waterfall in this area. The water here has a clear blue-green tint due to the high mineral content. Enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum, which was once a King's Palace. Luang Prabang is a wonderful walking town. You will have dinner at your own and stay overnight in Luang Prabang. |
Day 06: Luang Prabang – Pakse – Champasack - Kong Island (B.L) By Flight After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Pakse, welcomed by our guide and transferred to Parksé. Visit the famous Tad Fan Waterfall and ethnic villages in the surrounding area then depart to Champasack. In the afternoon, visit Wat Phou (Kmer ruin dated 11th century) then take a drive toward Kong Island. You will have dinner at your own and stay overnight at hotel in Khong Island. |
Day 07: Kong Island - Don Khong Island - Khonphapheng Water fall - Paksé (B.L) After breakfast at hotel, You will take a boat cruise to Done Khone (1 hour trip) and visit the famous Liphi (Devil Corridor), if you are lucky you can enjoy watching the Irriwady dolphins ( around 06h00-09h00 or 16h00-18h00 ) and the remnants of the French colonial area ( old pier, stream rail way, former French hospital building and Maritime Office). You will have lunch at local restaurant, and then take a boat cruise to Ban Nakasang village and visit Khon Phapheng (Niagara of Asia). Return to Pakse. You will have dinner on your own and stay overnight at hotel in Paksé. |
